Wazah is a dumb little creation that devolved from just being bored in school into a whole world building, passion project thing.
It entirely started by me questioning if there are any gods, if they knew and understood every language that ever existed or is they had to learn every time a new one appears. And then if do, could you just make one only you and the gods can understand. Basically just my average thoughts. But then amongst my doodles on empty school work, I got bored and started drawing down symbols.
But fun little thing about me is i can’t do things simply, i will go out of my way learning the most obscure shit just so something is realistic and scientifically accurate. So if i were to make a language, i couldn’t make an easily decodable language, where a letter if just entirely replaced by a symbol. No I have to make it an actual separate language that has symbols for sounds (ex: the symbol “A” typically makes an “ah” sound).
From then on I started to make sounds that sound like it could be connected to a thing (ex: like how in some languages the word for cat is “mao”, yknow like what cats do), spelt them out with the symbols to wake words.
After a bit of making words, I wanted to give more depth to these words, like how some words have other words in them to describe the word (ex; gloves in german is literally just “hand” and “shoe” combined), or how some words involve cultural/religious bias in them (like if the culture worshiped a god of the sun named Zeepzorp, they're word for “sun” could involve this god, like idk “sun” is “zee” in this language of sum. So to make the words more in depth like this I have to create the languages culture and beliefs. So this is the point it devolved from just a silly time waster
